The FHU Lectureship was a great success. We met a lot of people and were able to share many resources with preachers and Christians, including our FREE Bible Study cards. These cards are seeing great results! We have had 3 requests for LOCAL bible studies in less than 24 hours as of the writing of this article, in 2 different states. (Contact our office to have some of these mailed to you) One highlight of the visit to FHU was that Joey was able to visit with a few congregations. One of these visits showed some great fruit in that two precious souls were restored after looking at scripture together. To God be the glory! We have launched some new broadcasts that are pretty exciting, as well as plans are in place to attend the SEIBS lectureship in late April with a booth there as well in the Knoxville, TN area. Joey has several upcoming appointments in 3 different states and we are excited to tell you more about what is on the horizon. Later in 2023, we will be offering an evangelism workshop/seminar conducted by Joey Ferrell called “The D.R.I.P. Effect” in an effort to teach congregations how to evangelize in their own communities with the resources that they may already have in front of them. The first overview of this workshop has been successfully delivered to a group at a local school of preaching and has been scheduled for multiple congregations over the next few weeks. This particular presentation is an introduction and overview and can be given to “kick-start” an evangelism attitude for the church.Email joey@thegospelofchrist.com for more information about this effort.
