Jesus commanded His disciples, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mk. 16:15-16). Those of us associated with the work here at THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST strive to fulfill this directive by teaching the Gospel as widely as possible through every legitimate means at our disposal. As New Testament Christians, we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ because we realize that it is “the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16).

THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST is an evangelistic effort of the McLish Avenue Church of Christ in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and is supported by congregations and individual members of the churches of Christ nationwide. The work is now in its second decade of operation, and continues to grow with each passing day. The goal of THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST is to take the whole Gospel to the whole world. However, that is not just our motto; it is our mission!

At THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST, we use a variety of different media to spread the soul-saving message of Jesus around the globe. Our main thrust is the production of programs for viewing on television (we currently have the capability to reach more than 1.5 million households via television), but we also produce radio programs. Our weekly thirty-minute television broadcasts can be viewed in a variety of states in America, including Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and others. Our television programs also air in the West Indies, the Philippines, and additional foreign nations. Through our radio work we are broadcasting from major cities in the United States and internationally.

In addition, our television and radio programs are available in streaming video and streaming audio formats here on our Website. For instance, we produce programs on a variety of Bible-related issues, including such things as: New Testament studies; foundations of the faith studies; motivational studies; soul-saving studies; topical studies; truth studies; worship studies; etc.

We also make available on our Website written transcripts of each program for use in a variety of teaching situations (e.g., classroom instruction, jails, prisons, personal Bible study, etc.). These transcripts (which by the way, make terrific tools for those who are hearing impaired) contain the complete text of the video or audio programs, and generally vary in length from six to eight pages. At the end of each transcript is a single page of study questions specifically designed to accompany the text of the lesson. The number of questions varies with each transcript (depending on the length of each question), but usually runs between fourteen and twenty-one. The transcripts and study questions are available in both PDF and html formats here on our Website, and may be photocopied for classroom use and other teaching situations. THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST maintains a strong presence via the Internet as well as through free recorded media. Through our Website, people from all over the world can request complimentary copies of our programs in DVD and CD formats. We distribute thousands of pieces of media each year worldwide at no cost to the recipients (including free shipping, except on foreign orders). Our DVDs contain multiple lessons (usually between 4 and 8 per DVD), while CDs contain two lessons each. A complete listing is available via the media-request form here on our Website.

In addition, we make available on our Website a limited number of items in the Spanish language. Currently, there are audio lessons on the plan of salvation and the church of the New Testament. We are planning on adding more offerings in the days ahead. Written transcripts are available for each of the Spanish lessons, too.

We also produce a bi-weekly electronic newsletter, in which we announce new programs and transcripts that have been posted on our Website (where the offerings change weekly). Links are provided in the newsletter so that those who desire to do so may visit the Website to view or listen to the latest lessons.
