Spreading the Soul-Saving Message
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST is a 15-year-old evangelistic effort overseen by the elders of the McLish Avenue church of Christ in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The work is fully supported by both congregations and individual members of the churches of Christ nationwide. The goal of THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST (TGOC) is to take the whole gospel to the whole world. It is not just our motto – it is our mission!
In a world where many have compromised the truth and are preaching
(Jer. 6:14), our program seeks to teach and preach the whole counsel of God – regardless of the consequence or reaction (Acts 20:27; Gal. 4:16). THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST uses a variety of ways to spread the soul-saving message of Jesus around the globe:Peace, peace!
When there is no peace.
- First, we spread the gospel through TV. Currently, our 30-minute programs are on 22 different stations worldwide (including Dish Network which covers over 14,200,000 households alone)!
- Second, we spread the gospel through radio.
- Third, we spread the gospel here online. Our website receives multiple millions of page requests per year – and that number continues to grow. (In 2011, we had almost 190 different foreign countries visit our website!)
- Last, we spread the gospel by personal evangelism (including tent meetings, gospel meetings, and public debates).
In addition, our programs are made available for download in video and audio formats. On our website, people from all over the world can request FREE copies of our programs on DVDs or CDs. That is right, FREE. We are unique in the sense that we do not charge for any of our material. (We even pay S&H in the U.S.) We distribute thousands of pieces of our free media each year worldwide. You also can find materials in Spanish and can sign up to receive our free electronic newsletter.

| Negate: | Kevin Pendergrass |
Anyone is invited to attend in person, of course, but for those who cannot make it, we will webcast live during the debate. Plus, we will prepare DVDs for free distribution afterward. The live stream is for your convenience of immediate study and discussion, but remember that the final DVD production will contain much higher quality video and might be easier to study from, with the ability to pause, take notes, etc.
Both nights of this debate will be at 7pm Central Time, hosted in the Pershing United Pentecostal Church's meeting place at 2650 Pershing Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72118. For more details, visit the Religious Debate on Mechanical Instruments in Worship Facebook Page, where you can also discuss this event with others.
Pre-Debate Show
For people who like to dig deeper, Kevin, Jason, and their moderators will have a live discussion one hour before the actual debate. This pre-debate show
will look behind the scenes with the opponents while they talk about the importance of debate, how it can bring togetherness and unity, and more. We'll stream this live at 6pm Centeral Time, and we'll include it as an extra feature on the (always-free) DVDs!
