SECOND QUARTER
2009
It’s time once again for another quarterly update about our work here at THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. First, we are thrilled to be able to announce that in the month of June alone, we received a record number of page-hits on our Website. We had over 1 million page-hits during that month. And, so far in 2009 we have been visited by 65,685 unique visitors from 121 different countries. The Lord has indeed blessed our efforts, for which we are truly grateful.
Second, beginning a few months ago we started to utilize the Internet even more than we had in the past. We now are producing what we call “short videos,” which are intended to be viewed on Websites such as YouTube (www.youtube.com/thegospelofchrist) and Tangle (www.tangle.com/thegospelofchrist). The length of these videos ranges from 5 to 15 minutes. Currently, we have eight short videos available, and ten more will be coming soon. In these videos we cover topics such as authority, salvation, the church, Satan, etc. As of this month, the videos have been watched more than 4,000 times. Via these videos, many precious souls are being exposed to the truth of God’s Word. We would like to ask that you please tell your family members, friends, and neighbors about these short videos so that they can begin to use them and tell others about them. If you have a request regarding a topic that you would like for us to address, please feel free to contact us. We would appreciate receiving any requests you might like to offer, or any responses you might like to make, concerning the new videos.
Third, we continue to receive media requests from around the world which we are busy filling. In the second quarter alone we received 561 requests for media just through our Website. This does not include those coming in via mail, phone, or direct communication. So far this year, we have sent media to 38 states and 24 foreign countries:
