TGOC PROGRAMS NOW AIRING
ON 50,000-WATT STATION
IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE!
Exciting things are always happening at THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. For example, we ended 2007 with more than 3,500,000 page-hits on our Website (which was more than double the number of hits the site received in 2006!).
Now we are pleased to announce that we began 2008 by adding a powerful new radio station to the ever-growing number of stations already airing our programs. Beginning on Sunday morning, January 6, WNQM 1300, a 50,000-watt AM station in Nashville, Tennessee, began airing a different 30-minute GOSPEL OF CHRIST program each Sunday morning from 8:30 until 9:00 o'clock. Needless to say, we are thrilled to be able to make this announcement. If you live within the broadcasting area that WNQM reaches, we would like to encourage you to listen to the program. Or, if you know someone who lives in that area, we would like to encourage you to tell them about TGOC programs that are now available on WNQM. In the meantime, we are working hard to find congregations of the churches of Christ in the western and eastern areas of Tennessee that can put TGOC programs on the air in those areas so that we can blanket the entire state with our programs. We'll keep you updated on our continuing efforts to "take the whole Gospel to the whole world."

OVERWHELMING RESPONSE
TO CROSSWORD PUZZLES |
As you may remember, in our last newsletter we announced the addition to our Website of interactive crossword puzzles. It is somewhat of an understatement to say that those puzzles received an incredibly warm welcome from our readers—and simultaneously generated a real hubbub of activity on our site. In fact, due to the overwhelming response from our readers for additional puzzles, this week we have decided to add three new puzzles to our Website (instead of just one). In the future, we will add new puzzles at an average of one per week (but added two at a time, to coincide with our bi-weekly newsletter).
We have received some amazing comments from our readers regarding how they are using the new crossword puzzles (in Bible classes, in home devotionals, etc.), as well as some truly insightful constructive criticism (which we genuinely appreciate—as always!). Thank you for taking the time to contact us about this latest offering on our Website. We invite you to spread the word about all aspects of our site in order to help us take the whole Gospel to the whole world. And, as we state on the page of our Website that contains the new crossword puzzles, "Go ahead—get addicted to God's Word!"
STILL MORE
BIBLE QUIZZES AVAILABLE
FOR TGOC'S
MOTIVATIONAL SERIES
In our first newsletter of 2008, we announced the availability of the second group of four additional Bible quizzes in our Motivational Series of lessons ("Comfort from Above"; (2) "What Are the Greatest Things in Life"; (3) "Reward for Service"; and (4) "The Suffering of Job"). In this newsletter we are announcing the third group of four more quizzes in that series: (1) "The Eternal Kingdom"; (2) "Dare to Be a Daniel"; (3) "You Are the Salt of the Earth"; and (4) "The Non-conversion of Felix." Additional quizzes in the Motivational Series will follow in the coming weeks. These quizzes, and more than 100 others, can be found on our Website at www.thegospelofchrist.com/quiz.
ENCORE PRESENTATIONS
OF TGOC'S
"BEST OF THE BEST"
NOW AIRING
This space in our newsletter usually is dedicated to informing our readers about new programs that are available on our Website (and that are simultaneously airing on television and radio stations around the country). However, in this newsletter we are doing something a bit different. Perhaps a word of explanation is in order.
As you might expect, we regularly receive quite an influx of letters, e-mails, and telephone calls as a result of people having viewed or listened to our programs. Thanks to the compliments, comments, and constructive criticisms provided by those who take the time to communicate with us, we are able to do several things. First, we are able to judge the impact that our programs are having. Second, we are able to determine what topics we need to cover in future programs. And third, we are able to learn which of our programs appear to have the most impact.
Using the information gleaned from the third item in that list, on extremely rare occasions we decide to present "encore presentations" of some of our programs—what we like to refer to as (if you'll pardon our momentary lapse in humility) "the best of the best." This is one of those occasions. During 2007, we ran a two-part series of programs by Ben Bailey titled, "What Are the Differences Between the Churches of Christ and Other Religions?" As we had hoped they would, those two programs generated what we believe turned out to be some very beneficial insight into, and subsequent discussion about, such things as the singularity and uniqueness of the Lord's church, the extra-biblical origin and nature of denominationalism, how to determine authority in matters of religion, etc.
As a result of the impact of those two programs, we have decided to offer encore presentations of them in an effort to engender even more discussion about the purity and primacy of the church that Jesus died to establish. These two programs are therefore being re-aired on television and radio stations around the United States. And because that is the case, we wanted to once again bring them to the attention of readers of our newsletter for two reasons. First, for our new readers who have not seen or heard these two programs, we would like to invite you to view or listen to them for the first time. Second, for those readers who have already seen or heard the programs, we would like to encourage you to revisit the material, and possibly use it to open discussions with friends, neighbors, or relatives who are members of religious groups other than the church of Christ.
We will return to announcing more new programming in our next newsletter.
